Terms

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms cover your use of ACK: the API, the MCP server, the web app and the inboxes they manage. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and any organisation you set up.

Accounts and organisations

  • You need a valid email address and, to start a trial, a payment card.
  • An account can own several organisations. Each organisation is billed separately.
  • Keep your API keys and sign-in secret. You are responsible for what's done with them, including by agents you connect.

Trial

  • Each account gets one 14-day trial, on its first organisation.
  • Trial inboxes use a shared ACK domain and can send 100 emails in total. Receiving is not capped.
  • At the end of the trial you can subscribe, or the organisation stops sending.

Plans and billing

  • Subscriptions are monthly, per organisation, at the prices shown when you subscribe. Extra inboxes and add-ons such as dedicated IPs are billed on the same subscription.
  • Fair use is 1,000 messages per inbox per month. Above it we slow sending down; we don't charge more.
  • You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. We don't refund partial months.

Acceptable use

ACK is for real, one-to-one conversations. You must not use it to:

  • send bulk, marketing or unsolicited mail, or mail to bought, rented or scraped lists;
  • send phishing, malware, or anything deceptive or illegal;
  • impersonate people or organisations, or send from domains you don't control;
  • work around sending limits, pauses or suppression lists.

We watch bounce and complaint rates. An organisation that crosses our thresholds is paused automatically, and a person reviews it before sending resumes. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. You're responsible for complying with the law that applies to the mail you send, including consent and unsubscribe rules.

Your content

Mail and data in your inboxes are yours. You give us permission to store, process and transmit them only to provide ACK. You can export or delete them at any time. Our privacy page explains how we handle them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep ACK running and your mail safe, but we provide the service "as is" and don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features. We'll give notice before removing anything you rely on, and at least 30 days' notice before price changes.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending

You can close your account at any time; export anything you want to keep first, because closing deletes it. We may close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, with notice where we reasonably can, and will give you a chance to export your data unless the law or abuse prevents it.

Changes to these terms

We'll post changes here and email account owners at least 30 days before material changes take effect.
